The barn sale went really well, and it was so nice meeting so many of you. But I must confess, my heart has been broken these past few days.
Having a pretty sunny day like this one..made it a little bit better.
The yard is coming alive.

I've been a fan of Matthew since I first saw his stories in Country Home Magazine.
He has been my idol of the styling world.
They are sending me a copy of the new magazine, which makes me smile.

Summer!!! Swimming, fresh fruit & Vegg, hikes, ice cream. Love it all. Count me in. Oh I also recently went to the Little White Teah House and it was amazing.
I would love a copy of that magazine, however I do live a long way away (australia) so it might be best if you send it to someone closer to you. I'm sorry you haven't had the best week. Our BC weather has been positively beastly so the sun's appearance does have an uplifting effect.
When I feel blue I take a cup of tea and a stack of my Country Living mags and sit quietly and peruse them...for some reason they provide comfort...maybe Matthew Mead's new book will work some of that magic for you too!
I'd love this book by Matthew...I have seen Tricia's work too and absolutely adore her creative style.

I have been having thoughts of summer as well up until this morning when I awoke to 19 cm of snow outside...oh well we got a snow day out of it!
