We finally had some hot weather this weekend.
So, we've been up early gardening in our pyjamas.
As I mentioned earlier, it's almost expected around here!
I've been getting boxes and boxes of rhubarb. I have a new Missing Goat jam about to launch - Rhubarb with Rosemary.
It's so good, but honestly, after chopping 150 pounds of it, my enjoyment is fading.
Another hundred next weekend ...anyone free to help chop??
I love the light in the early morning.
I love the shadows too.
My friend Janis, gave me the thumbs up on my back lighting, so, I felt encouraged to try more.
Even weeds seem magical.
Now I don't give myself praise to often, but this, is my back light pride and joy.
Though the glowing ears of that bunny were damn fabulous too!
Good morning dewy strawberries.
And then I saw this.
Can you guess what it is?
Give it a shot.
I'll let you know in a few days..

that jam sounds amazing! Why don't I live closer to you! I do have rhubarb and rosemary so may just have to make a batch or two here.
Your jam sounds divine! That is a lovely combination. What a beautiful farm you have....and gardening in your PJ's is the best. I have been known to do the same:).

hehe, gardening in your PJ's must be a great fun. I love the garden in the morning. Your photos are so pretty. To answer your quesitons I'd guess a pumpkin.
Dew drops on plastic sheet?
that jam sounds delicious ... such relaxing pictures.
Adorable as per usual.
dew drops? Salt? I have no idea, but it looks pretty cool!
That picture of the strawberry leaves is FANTASTIC!
xo
Beautiful! I too love the morning light!
It was so nice to see the sun this weekend! Beautiful photos! Can't wait to try out the new jam, sounds yummy....
I think those drops have something to do with your honeybees...
um, that jam sounds really good, i think i'll need to try some. keep chopping!
I've been reading for a while now and haven't ever commented. But...I've gotta tell you, your posts always make me smile...sometimes I laugh out loud. Thanks for letting us get a peek of your adventures on the farm!
your pictures are so inspirational-artistic!!
Rhubarb and rosemary together sounds delicious. Do you chop by hand? I suppose a food processor would make the rhubarb too fine.
I absolutely love this post. Gardening in your pajamas....sounds so peaceful. Thank you for making my week and reminding me how the simple things bring so much joy. :)
Outstanding pictures! My guess on your photo is water droplets on a screen door.
Your farm looks so beautiful! I have a habit of visiting the garden in my pajamas too. Hope my neighbors aren't paying attention! :)
I've introduced my neighbours to 'gardening in your pjs'! Like you say, I think they've come to expect it of me! My winter pjs and bright red gumboots are my morning uniform while I flit around the garden saying good morning to all my little treasures. Would've loved some of your jam on my toast this morning...
try lavender with the rhubarb...yum
back lighting: yes!
