Ha. That story is all too familiar I'm afraid! I once had a chookie called Delilah (now in chook heaven) and she did the identical thing to me. the next morning my gorgeous husband went apicking through the chook poo in search of my pearl earring, but couldn't find it. Miraculously, we spotted it on the grass not far from where i was lying the previous afternoon. it seems Delilah didn't fancy pearls afterall and must had spat it out. You wouldn't be without them (the chooks) would you. They have brought such joy to our garden, hopefully yours too. have a great weekend. Jane x
