Tricks of the trade..

I thought I would share more of my work with you. This is my greenhouse. My husband built it for me as a wedding gift. We did it up beautifully for a Country Living shoot, but sadly, it's back to being a greenhouse now. Colleen Sawatsky of Vintage home had all these fabulous props to play with! Colleen - you need a store! All photos by ...you guessed it, the fabulous Janis Nicolay.

wow. Thanks for the compliment Heather! This was such a fun shoot to work on. You know me, I'm a city girl, but I have to say....I could have lounged in this "greenhouse" all day!

Oh I remember seeing this in Country Living...so so beautiful...Colleen is amazing. Her home is charming...everytime I go over I feel like I am in decorating heaven. Plus she is so darn nice to boot!

Oh, the light-fittings and the beautiful bowl of hydrangeas! So far removed from tomatoes and snails. I could live in the parallel world of photoshoots.

WOW I remember drooling over all these wondeful images some time back and now to find the 'owner'. So many items of gorgeousness in these images and the box-pleat slip cover i just love. Shame it is not stull gussied up!Well you girls are oozing style. Maybe some will rub off if I hang around a while. hehe Great images. Julie

Okay, wait one second! I loved this greenhouse! And now, from what I understand, you are in the Vancouver area. I am so incredibly happy I found you so that I can add you to my list of inspiring places to visit!

OH MY! I just found this blog and was admiring the pics. Then I saw the greenhouse and thought how interesting that we both admire the same pics in the same magazines. I then read further and noticed that this was YOUR GREENHOUSE in Country Living Magazine! How exciting! I subscribe and your greenhouse is one of my fave inspirational pics in that issue!! Gorgeous!
