Reno's and Happy Birds..

There has been a lot of this snacking action going on outside my windows this month. Birds loading up on Mountain Ash berries - getting ready for the winter.

And, while I'm mentioning my windows, I'll tell you that we just had new windows put in the house. Step one of the lower floor renovations!!

The berries are beautiful, as is the new expanse of glass. My children live on pancakes, with chocolate pancakes for pudding. And do please swear away as much as you like; your blog is engagingly genuine and shouldn't be censored at all.

Yay for renovations! Though they make home-life so stressful sometimes, don't they? At least you have birds, pancakes, and glass art. You really don't need much more than that.

We too are in the midst of doing some home projects inside and out...I love feeling re-energized with a new project....Oh...and I think pancakes go with everything :o)

kitchen renovations are bad, but not as bad as the bathroom in a one bath apartment. The birds look like a nice distraction from the chaos going on inside.

Love your bird photos!
I redid my kitchen 4 years ago. In fact, remodeled most of the place. I moved out temporarily. Had to move back in while they were still working. It was a nightmare. Done now though and I love it. So take heart; you'll adore it when it's done!

I love the photos of the birds and berries... and renovation photos - now you know I love those! And I can't wait to see more.

AND there is nothing wrong with pancake meals. Bill, Noah and I have been known to have them for breakfast, lunch and dinner on occasion (we try to avoid doing that on the same day, of course)...
