is that oilcloth???? because i have lots of fantasies about that stuff and covering everything in my home with it...if only one could line the inside of the car with it...if i had an old vw bus to do that with that would be so cool... a rockin vintage car to cart your kids around in!
Very nice, and hugely practical. I always feel that my life will change once I buy one of those staple guns, so I'm loathe to do so in case it doesn't.
I have used oilcloth to cover chairs too...it is needed at every age..believe me my teens are messy messy messy! I love the green! Love this for the Summer. xoxox
hey birdie blue - I absolutly think it would stick to bare skin in the summer. But, if you assign seating according to your guests outfit, you can avoid the problem. Plus, I think it's still better to have a little stick over a big stain.
Wow, that would be great in my dinning room. My dear little Aila has just started eating "by herself"...certainly you can figure out what I have been through...THANK you for sharing THIS idea. Love, Bela.
Oooh! I've thought of doing this very thing. But my girls are in their thirties now. It's me I'm worried about spilling things! Heading right over to see... Brenda

Love this! I've been thinking of doing this very thing to my dining room chairs. Not sure if it would feel tacky/sticky if you were wearing shorts?
They are beautiful! I love the post on HGTV as well! You such a great sense of style.

You got your oil cloth! Looks great, and it does make great seat covers doesn't it?
Brilliant! I sent a link for the oilcloth fabrics to my sister in Michigan. She will love it!
You did a super job, Heather. Bring on the spills!
