A Short Visit and Breaking News...

Hello peach.

A very late frost this year equals a very small harvest.
Better than nothing says the optimist.

Speaking of optimism..

Into the kitchen..

..and goodbye to the peaches.

and this just in from the news desk....in a bold move towards independence, the sunflower on the left has broken away from the sunflower in the right.  Thus ending the daily battle over who will face the sun.  You may remember these two from an earlier report.
It a big big day here in the garden folks.  Stay tuned..

Just bought a few pounds of fresh Jersey peaches last week and made my first peach pie. Big seal of approval from all of the empty plates!

I'd forego most newspapers for your sort of news, so blithely photographed.

I grew up on a stonefruit orchard as a child, picking and packing and eating peaches and nectarines! These photos are delightful to me and brought back many happy and hardworking memories. Thank you

The peaches look delicious... And the dog? (I know, I completely side-tracked comment - but I had no idea you had one! And so handsome and sweet-looking too.) I love visiting your farm vicariously through these posts.
