Reasons To Grow Vegetables...

We had a little holiday.

The girls stayed home but didn't seem to mind as they got to enjoy some quiet poolside time after a very brisk badminton tournament. 

  There was a bit of trouble when we learnt the watermelon may ..or may not have been soaked with vodka.

Coco - the one on the right, flat out denies it.  

Everything was bursting when we got back.

Which brings me to my biggest reason to grow vegetables and have chickens..

Because when you go away...

...and come home to empty cupboards and zero desire to grocery shop...

you simply pop outside...

..and find dinner.
