Hi there, adore the metalic penguins! Its lovely isn't it when that festive feeling starts to sneak over you, like a whisper that warms you right down to your toes! I wondered if you would do me the honnour of exchanging blog links with me? Interested? email-sharonstyle@fsmail or pop over to my blog and let me know.Have a lovely weekend. Sharon xox
I'm right there with you! Since I am not living in my own house right now, I don't have all of my vintage and handmade ornaments with me, so I bought a few vintage ornaments yesterday and I plan to go on a scavenging hike for pine cones and other lovely decorations tomorrow. I love decorating for Christmas! Your potted trees sound perfect. xo Gigi
Trees in pots are amazing!!!!! I am off to downtown Vancouver to do some fun shopping for stockings and packages right now...may go visit The Cross...Have never been...and Butter...to get some jam!! xoxo
I love your green trees in white pots! My daughter is here from New York so I am going to get her to go into the storage unit and help me haul all our Christmas things out. Then I can slowly savor my collections and decided who goes where. That's the most fun part. AND it always gets me in the holiday mood.
Hi Heather, I love those trees in pots. I have wanted some for myself, but I've hesitated because I feel like they look best only if you have a lot of them and I fear clutter. How are you using the little trees? In groups or spread out? With 7 in the house, how are you keeping it from feeling crowded?
I have to say, my festive feelings have dwindled with my renovations! One thing has lead to another, and now, I'm painting the whole kitchen a new colour (including the cabinets), fighting with the ninnies over our new french doors and wondering where my yellow kitchen aid will ever fit in now. Silly. Anyways, Jen, in answer to your question about to many trees - one is in my kitchen - or will be in another week. Three are lined up on my dining room table and two for the mantle. Voila!
