Another story of the kindness of strangers in blogland. Just because, and for no other reason other than to be generous, Amber Whitehouse of Wisconson, sent me jar of her homemade granola. The packaging, container, the note cards, the suggestion sheet...it was all stunning.
We were very thrilled!
we ate...
and ate..
and ate.
Thank you Amber.

Oh what a nice treat and surprise! Your little girl is just darling in the picture of her on the floor too!
I believe you get what you give...you must have given somewhere along the line, and it was your turn to get.

People can do the nicest things...bless her heart.
How sweet of her! I assume from the smile on your daughter's face, that the granola was as fabulous as the package it came in!!!:-)
Have a wonderful week!

I love country side living, and I am from India. I have been reading your blog for quite a while now, though this is my first comment. I love your blog. It shows me country side living in a world different than mine.
That last picture stole my heart! I remember when my girls (now 12 and 16) were that size. She is just the cutest little thing! Carla

I guess someone in your family really loves granola! She's so cute!
How nice of Amber...
Aren't people amazing! I've received the most special things too from online friends - for no reason. Love this!
I'm sure the granola was scrumptious, but not as scrumptious and lovely as your little girl!! I love how she just "hams it up" for the camera... so full of fun, life and joy!
