Each morning, we chop something up for the girls.
Kale, swiss chard or arugula are their snacks of choice.
Spoilt Ducks!
Passing the veggie garden, we take note of the chives height.
When they get tall enough, I'll make the perogies again and share the recipe.
We let the girls out. They immediately run for water.
We gather an egg...
..or two!
Yes, we know get two eggs a day.
Now we'll never know who started laying an egg first. Guess it doesn't matter.
But what will we do with the night vision goggles and repelling rope?
Our neighbours must think us insane!
Have a great week.

OH my Heather.....we should all have this problem......I have egg envy!
yum yum yum..
I just loooove your photography.. all that imagery goodness AND duck talk? I am in heaven.
I wouldn't mind that chopped up snack for myself!
The eggs are a nice size too and maybe by laying them, it's the ducks way of appreciating the good life they live.
gotta love those ducks! I wonder how duck eggs taste?
The ducks now look "mature". Now that they are laying eggs, I guess they are all grown up. Will you get more ducks so you can sell the eggs at Missig Goat.
Happy ducks lay yummy eggs! They must be happy! Carla
I really love your adorable duck pictures! That bucket of water totally quenched their thirst :)
I wish I can have a duck or two but that's never going to happen. My little mutt would give them a heart attack and the bf won't approve anyways. (sad face)
beautiful photos...your ducks must be the happiest ducks around! and how are those eggs?
Ducks sound well taken care of..lol. Bet the eggs are yummy. Love your pictures..they really do tell a story.

For a second I thought that the girls were well, real girls (sorry, have been away, have some catching up to do!), and thought, My goodness, raw chsrd, how advanced these little female creatures are, eating such snacks with pleasure :-)
Love that blue floor in the profile pic. I once designed a roof garden with a deck like that. Wish it was mine!
What a lovely beginning of the day!
