Once Upon a Frosty Morning..

Once upon a frosty morning..we took the day off.
Everything was frozen and beautiful.

We took pictures of ourselves, without makeup or chapstick.

The rose hips were brilliant.
We said good morning to Jerry.

And mailed our first letter to Santa.

Oh the frost was beautiful when I walked the dog on the property this morning. The sun caught the frost and everything sparkled like it had been sprinkled with fine glitter. Sharp and fresh. Just what your pictures captured.

What beautiful pictures! I love these kinds of mornings. Unfortunatley here in Italy the weather has been unusually warm for this time of year so we haven't had any frosty mornings yet. Thank you for sharing yours.

Oh how I wish for a cold morning and the sound of crunching ice under my shoes...alas...we will be having another hot day in Australia tomorrow...

Best winter wishes, Natasha.

What a delightful thing to do together. It always seems such a treat to take a moment to appreciate nature around us, something we don't take the time to do very often. Your photos are beutiful, thanks for sharing them.

I just found your blog and I absolutely love your bathroom picture with the claw foot tub. Also, the picture of your baby with the letter to Santa is just precious.

How cute is Jerry!! And I loved the picture of sending the letter to Santa. Seeing the Canadian mailbox made me miss my home country a bit. I grew up in Amherstburg, Ontario.
