It was Thanksgiving here this past weekend. Lots of food, family and beautiful weather.
Here are a few things that I love about this time of year.
I love the small details.
I love that the girls are infatuated with themselves - they see their reflection in the window.
Of course, I did have to kick them out of the house when I left the door open. Didn't love that too much.
Love that the apple pears are ready.
I love that giant mushrooms grow in our yard. I'm waiting for the pixies and gnomes to hold a fabulous tea party. I've got my hat picked out.
Pumpkin pie. From scratch. LOVE!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend with family up north. The colours of the trees were breath taking as usual. (Ontario)
I would imagine we're both full of pumpkin pie by now....but all the calories were worth it!

Every time I see a picture of one of your ducks my heart just melts. I don't know how you can stand to have that constant cuteness around...I'd never get anything else done. They are beyond precious....
I heard it was Thanksgiving in your neck of the woods! Hope yours was wonderful ... it is one of my most favorite holidays. Hanging with loved ones and eating till you want to die, then eating some more! Great pics!

I"m also in love with your ducks. My cousin lives in New Jersey + says if you have a duck come by + feed it, it'll be yours. Sadly, no wild ducks come by here:( Am also in love with your little pumpkin pies - I"d love it if you'd share the recipe - Perfect little treasures.
