When Mabel isn't foraging for food, possibly laying an egg?? or sleeping, I've caught the odd glimpse of her trying to teach yoga.
I believe, and correct me if I'm wrong, this is Kundalini.
Poppy caught sight of this..
...and gave it a go. But, being a boy, it was awkward and hard to watch.
I looked away, busying myself with a button on my sweater.
He moved on.
On the egg front...we are getting an egg a day.
I still don't know by whom!
In your honest opinion, do you think I over shot on purchasing the egg basket so soon?

LOL You're funny! Getting the basket ahead of time was a great idea. One must always be prepared, you know.
Great, Heather. Do you remember that tiny little picture book called 'Yoga for Cats'?
hahaha, this post is too cute!
I'm sure you'll fill your egg basket eventually ; )

Heck ...no...I con't think you overshot purchasing your super cute egg basket!! I call it positive thinking:):):)
There are such adorable ducks and must provide a lot of enjoyment.
I love the egg basket! It looks so cute and country-ish even with one egg in it ;) Or even empty too!
I too purchased an egg basket like this... since we actually only have 5 chickens, meaning usually 5 eggs max per day, I've used it more to harvest veggies from my garden!

Those first eggs are so exciting, but if I remember correctly ours turned into ducklings. LOL. We loved that.
Will you please let me know when the garlic is ready for sale, I missed it last year. And I am down to my very last head of Armstrong garlic. I so loathe having to eat the white "made in China" garlic. And I just can't find anything else anywhere.
